New Zealand to Germany

Internship New Zealand offer programmes for applicants wishing to go to Germany and experience their work environment.

Working Holiday Programme

In order to be eligible for this 12 month programme, participants must be:

• a full time student or recent graduate from NZQA recognised university or polytechnics;
• aged 18 to 30 at the time of application
• a New Zealand citizen and have no dependents travelling with you;
• in possession of health insurance;
• able to show proof of a return ticket or evidence of sufficient funds to purchase one;
• confirmed with a pre-arranged work offer. The position can be paid or unpaid; and
• able to show evidence of access to the equivilent of minimum 250 euro per month for the first three months in Germany. This may be in the form of credit cards, copies of bank statements or by providing a letter from a guarantor.

Dates
The programme runs all year.

Duration
Up to twelve months.

Participants can remain in the Germany as tourists after their work visa expires.

Internship Germany

In order to be eligible for this 12 month programme, participants must be:

• an undergraduate student from NZQA recognised university or polytechnics;
• able to show proof of a return ticket or evidence of sufficient funds to purchase one;
• a New Zealand citizen and have no dependents travelling with you;
• in possession of health insurance;
• confirmed with a pre-arranged work offer. The position can be paid or unpaid; and
• able to show evidence of access to the equivilent of minimum 600 euro per month for the duration of their internship in Germany. This may be in the form of wages, credit cards, copies of bank statements or by providing a letter from a guarantor.

The programme runs all year.

Duration
Work visa/permit lasts for up to 12 months.

Participants can remain in the Germany as tourists after their work visa expires.
